Cinderella.... Barbie and the Magic Castle (or so Jonathan tells me)...... and Batman!
Lots of fun with friends, lots of neighborhood decorations out, a few very scary costumes, too much candy, three adorable children who are all ours!

Etsy
Etsy is an online shop that sells handmade items. I had a couple of hats I'd made a while back, so I'll try my hand at selling them. The girls have one of their own they like to wear.
My parents have pictures of us kids in our bath towels, so I thought I'd get a picture of Jonathan and Phoebe in theirs.

Some odd pictures from the past weeks...
Jonathan hurt is toe (the skin peeled back from the tip of his big toe; pretty gross over all!). So Mom did some handy doctoring which ended up looking like his whole foot was wounded. Oh well.
Phoebe looking cute in my apron. Look at that attitude! She can ham it up when she wants to. She's been having a lot of attitude with the move. She's also not taking her naps, so that doesn't help her temper. (And I do mean Temper!)
We had some people over right before we moved, so here is Phoebe again looking cute on Mrs. Elaine's lap. She has on Elizabeth's halloween costume (Cinderella) and she just looked beautiful in it.
The kids had all their umbrellas out during a shower, so I thought I'd take a picture of them. But they jumped right in there (anytime there's a camera, they're there). So kids and umbrellas mixed.

Devotions
Elizabeth told me her plan for devotions as she grows up.
~Right now she reads her Bible and listens to Christian music on the radio.
~The next step is to have her own devotion book.
~The step after that is to be in a small group like me (she loves to sit in on our women's small group; but I usually have to shoo her off because of certain topics these women lead the group astray on. :-).
Last night we decided to do devotions together. She came up to me and said, "You have lovely red lips and and an ivory neck" (or something like that). I said, "You must be reading Song of Solomon." She then told me she wanted to make a recipe from the Bible. So she tried to make a 'tower of elegance'.

Neighborhood
Jonathan, Elizabeth, Phoebe and I went to a birthday party in our new neighborhood this morning. The kids got these scary teeth in their goody bags. Right in time for Halloween! Anyway, it was a pajama/breakfast birthday party. The kids got to decorate their own pancakes and I got to visit a little with the moms in the neighborhood. This is a small two-street neighborhood (the roads make an L); so there is hardly any traffic coming down the street. The neighbors have all been living here for the last 10 years and know each other. Very tight. As a matter of fact, the kids all go trick-or-treating together for Halloween. The dads take them in a big group. I'm glad they told me, or we would have been the strange new neighbors knocking on everyone's door by ourselves!
We're known as the tree-house. Because the last guy who lived here built a tree-house for his girls and all the neighbor kids love to play in it. My kids, however, are too scared to go up in it. I'm wondering if they are expecting me to invite their kids over to play in the tree-house even if we don't? I'll have to think on it.

Maybe I can start blogging again...
I haven't taken pictures or blogged much lately because of moving. Here's an old picture I took of the kids (I don't think I've posted it before). I'm feeling more settled now: I just have a couple more things to do before I will feel like we're actually moved in. Anyway, I'll be back in the game soon, I hope!

Thank you, AT&T.
We got our cell phone bill yesterday, and it was $328.03! We normally pay about $55. But we had switched plans to lower minutes to try to save money and had inadvertently gone over the assigned minutes, and so had been charged $.45 per minute.... Anyway, I called them, and got right through and asked to be sent a list of who we had called so we could double check it. She said she could change our plan to the higher minutes' plan right there over the phone and also would change our bill to reflect that plan! So she took our bill from $328.03 to $85.79!! I was so excited that someone would do that for us. Just had to share!
