Mimi and Papa stayed over for a couple days on their way down to South Texas. We went to a fun authentic Mexican restaurant. It was brightly decorated for Christmas, and the walls were covered with murals. A mariachi band sang and played their guitars for our table. In the entry hall they had selections of pastries and candies for sale including candied orange halves, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin. We got some brown sugar pralines to eat at home.
God has truly blessed us this year with family visits. It fills up my spirit.
By the way, the pictures below are from breakfast at Denny's; not the bright Mexican restaurant.
