Oklahoma Trip

We finished school right before heading to Oklahoma to visit Lanaya Elizabeth and Amos.

Phillip and I spent some time in Tulsa.
We ate a delicious BLT at this little coffee shop (which turned out to be a dispensary! There are CBD dispensaries all over OK).

Augusta was passing through on her way to CIY in Joplin, so we all went out to lunch. She seems to be there every time we see Liz lately. 😁 She'll be playing bass for CIY this summer and was pretty excited about it. She's gonna do great!

Elizabeth has her apartment set up so cute! I love all her plants.

We spent some time at the coffee shop she works at. It was a fun place ~ they have a record player and records, so I chose The Carpenters for our listening pleasure.

Phillip is dissecting an article Amos sent him.

The Baristas each named a drink, so I had to try the Lanaya. It was delicious!

The table my dad made for the new couple and Phillip's boots match quite well together.

Elizabeth made a delicious meal for us the evening we arrived. Homemade bread too!

We did lots of talking and eating and Phillip preached at their church. It was fun to see them again and also see their apartment and town and church. And Amos' family as well!

Waving goodbye as we drive away. 😢
Goodbyes are hard. But our kids are a joy.

All the kittens came out from under the house while we were away. The kids sent us pictures. Jonathan counted eleven. We think two moms gave birth and one mom may have died. So once again, Abigail ~ the great-and-marvelous survivor and mother of all Gore Farm Cats ~ is taking care of all these kittens. I have high respect for this woman.
